  • SKEod--I don't believe the government requires tobacco companies to add any chemicals to cigarettes. Do you have an authoritative source for your assertion? If anything, the government (via the FDA) is set to reduce the chemical additives (both numbers and amounts) in cigarettes.

  • Cremation sounds like a solution--until you recall that story from Georgia a few years ago. The crematory operator was disposing of the bodies in the woods and providing the families with urns of miscellaneous ash and/or cement mix. And charging the usual fees all along.

  • You are exactly right. When boards adopt such policies, then they have to be enforced rigorously or the boards will get caught in the crossfire of lawsuits over why it was enforced in one case but not in another.
